Lector/Reader

The Lector or Reader at Mass proclaims the scriptural readings at Mass and reads the general intercessions. The lector in proclaiming the Word, nourishes the people of God with the Divine message.

Extraordinary Minister

The extraordinary minister of Holy Communion assists the priest and deacon in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Jesus during the Eucharist. As the congregation processes to the altar to receive the Eucharist, the minister feeds each with the sacred presence of Jesus.

Minister & Lector Schedules

Usher/Greeter

The usher and greeter welcome each person as they enter the church as a member of Christ’s body. They maintain the order of the church, help in emergencies, receive the offerings of the people and distribute the bulletin.

Altar Servers

The altar servers assist the priest and deacon at the altar. They hold the missal, prepare the table, lead the procession and assure that the rites proceed smoothly. Training begins when the child is in 3rd grade and usually begins in February. Please contact the rectory at 532-2850 if interested.

Music Ministers

Music ministers support the singing of the congregation in the hymns of procession and meditation, as well as the psalms and acclamations of the Mass.

Choir Members

Choir members sing at the various Masses on weekends and gather for weekly rehearsals on Monday evenings 8 weeks before Christmas and Easter. Gert Kennedy is our organist and choir director.

We also have a contemporary choir of all ages led by Missy Whitelock that sing at our 9am Mass each week.
